Did you know that we in New Jersey have a Motorcycle Ministry? If you were at the 2009 State Convention, you would have seen them in attendance and in their riding gear! The New Jersey Knights of Columbus Motorcycle Ministry held its’ first state meeting on October 6, 2008 at Vince Lombardi, Council 6552, Middletown. The Lombardi Council held the first meeting since it was the “birth place” of the Motorcycle Ministry. Two members of the council had the idea of organizing a motorcycle group and after years of planning, the Ministry was formed. The Ministry took to the road in the Spring 2009.

Its mission is to expand the scope of the Knights of Columbus by exposure to the community, expand our charitable works by organizing motorcycle rides, participating in other organizations’ rides, and to get our Brother Knights out on their bikes socially. The Ministry follows the Knights of Columbus ideals: Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.
